MENINGKATKAN PERENCANAAN KARIR SISWA KELAS IX MELALUI BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL

Changes in the job market affect the dynamics of the career planning process for students and graduates. Career planning for students is an important thing to develop in support of the desired goals. Classical guidance is a service activity that can be carried out in the classroom in the form of face-to-face meetings between teachers and students presented systematically for the development of certain competencies. The purpose of this classical guidance activity is to improve career planning skills for grade IX students. The problem is resolved in four stages of activity, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting on activities. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and career planning ability scales. Based on the results of the activity, it is known that students have increased understanding after receiving material on career planning. The calculation results obtained that the Sig (2-tailed) value shows a value of 0,000 with α = 0.05 (0,000 ≤ 0.05), it can be concluded that the use of classical guidance methods can improve career planning skills for class IX students.
