Kegiatan Psikoedukasi dan Pelatihan untuk Mengoptimalkan Karakter Tanggung Jawab Akademik pada Siswa

Abstract

Character education has the goal of developing attitudes with the ever-changing demands of the times. Junior high school students can be said to have entered the early adolescent development stage, where at that time it was a period of transition towards the formation of responsibilities. The general objective of the activity is that students are able to apply an attitude of academic responsibility at school. The participants were students of class VIII A, totaling 32 students at the Christian Junior High School of Satya Wacana Salatiga. Based on the results of the calculation of the post-test scores, it shows that students can understand the responsibility material well. They show varied attitudes of responsibility, both in the work and collection of assignments on time and in being responsible for carrying out class pickets. Students hope that on other occasions similar activities can be carried out with other themes.
