Abstract

Electronic business (e-business) is a business activity using an information technology approach. By utilizing e-business, companies can find out all processes and developments in the company. In addition, the company owner can also decide based on the e-business analysis of the company. In this study, an analysis of e-business strategies was made in the home industry, namely XYZ Stores. This study uses methods and tools for analysis: SWOT analysis, politics, economics, social, technology (PEST), Porter's five forces model, Value chain, and critical success factor (CSF). The results of this study identified several potential information systems at XYZ Stores to improve e-business strategies for marketing and sales processes. These information systems include CRM-based Sales Information Systems, Financial Management Information Systems, Employee Information Systems, Warehousing Information Systems, and Geographic Information Systems.
