Lecture attendance is a process of recording student attendance in teaching and learning activities in lectures. Radio frequency identification technology in the lecture attendance system can support the smooth lecture process because student attendance data will be identified automatically through a radio frequency identification reader which will be stored in the system database so students no longer need to sign the lecture attendance form. Data processing with this application will produce more accurate information. The software and hardware development method use Rapid Application Development, this method in its development and design uses available resources with the aim of developing and designing software that is short and fast. The results of the research produced a student and lecturer attendance system and a print attendance report. It is expected that the presence of a radio frequency identification-based presence system will improve the function of academic services to students easily, quickly, effectively and efficiently.
