Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project method on increasing children's creativity at Tarbiyatul Atfhal Kindergarten 02 Sinanggul Mlonggo Jepara. This research uses CAR or Action Research and uses a cycle as the research. The samples used in this study were students of TK Tarbiyatul Atfhal 02 Sinanggul Mlonggo Jepara with ages 5-6 years. The subjects in this study consisted of 6 students including 5 children who were not too developed. This type of research is qualitative research. The research method used in this research is to use CAR (Classroom Action Research), namely action research conducted in class. This Classroom Action Research was carried out by planning, action, observation, and reflection and continued with re-planning. Based on the results of the research, there is an influence between project methods and increasing children's creativity. This can be seen from the percentage of achievement that was originally from the first cycle of 33.3% to 66.6% in the second cycle, and has reached the indicator of success in research in the third cycle of 83%.
