Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menyimak dan Berbicara Anak Kelompok B di TK Melalui Metode Bercakap-cakap menggunakan APE Buku Cerita Bergambar

This study aims to improve Listening and Speaking Skills in Group B 3 of Nusawungu State Kindergarten, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency through conversation activities using picture story books in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation methods. The data analysis method used in this study was descriptive analysis. Improvements occurred in each cycle, in the initial condition, children who were not yet able to listen and speak well were 14 children (70%), children who were able to listen and speak well were 6 children (30%). In cycle I, children who were not yet able to listen and speak well were 8 children (40%), children who were able to listen and speak well were 12 children (60%). In cycle II, children who were not yet able to listen and speak well were 4 children (20%), children who were able to listen and speak well were 16 children (80%). This improvement shows that the method of talking with picture books is effective in developing children's language skills, especially in listening and speaking. Behavioral changes are also seen, where children who were initially less enthusiastic become more active and interested in communicating.
