Scientific Communication is a skill possessed by individuals or students in the form of interaction in the field of science that is supported by facts. The ability in scientific communication can help students express scientific ideas. Facts in the field state that there are still many challenges in education, such as students' lack of scientific communication skills. Some studies state that the obstacles that are often encountered in science learning are dominated by the role of the teacher during the teaching and learning process using the lecture method, resulting in students becoming passive listeners and less active in the ongoing learning process. This study aims to evaluate the validity, usefulness, and effectiveness of STEM-SDGs-based e-modules in improving the Scientific Communication of junior high school students in science learning. The research method used is Research and Development with the application of the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages. Data collection was carried out through various techniques, including observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The instruments used to collect data include validation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, test sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The average validity score of the STEM-SDGs-based e-module reached 84.97%, indicating a good level of validity. The results of the learning implementation observation showed that this module was very practical with an average score percentage reaching 92.85%. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the module through pretest and posttest using the N-gain formula resulted in a score of 0.72, which showed a good level of success. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of STEM-based science modules is considered to have a high level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
