Abstract

An organization certainly has employees known as workers. Finding employees occurs in the selection and recruitment process. However, problems are certainly encountered by the recruitment team, one of which is prospective employees who are lacking in resilience to pressure. Therefore, it needs to be addressed properly, so as not to worsen the existing condition. To improve resilience to pressure or hardiness, a hardiness training program is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement from the implementation of a hardiness training program for new employees. The research method used is quantitative experimental using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique with 10 participants of new hospital employees. Data analysis uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results show that the implementation of the hardiness training program is able to increase the hardiness of new employees (Z = -2.153 and sig = 0.031). This can be a provision for new employees when working so that they are able to perform their duties.
