The purpose of this research was to test the role of subjective well-being and attachment to God dimension - which were avoidance of intimacy and anxiety about abandonment - to the resiliency of each young adult and senior member of the church. The study was conducted on 187 respondents who were middle and late adult congregation members at Church X. The measuring instrument used to measure resilience was the Resilience Quotient Test, for Subjective well-being (SWB) the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) were used, for the avoidance of intimacy and anxiety about abandonment dimensions in Attachment to God the Attachment to God Inventory was used. The statistical test technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The result of the statistical test suggested that the subjective well-being and attachment to God dimensions, which was avoidance of intimacy and anxiety about abandonment - played significant results both simultaneously and partially, and that they were predictors to the resilience of the young adult and senior member of the church. Further research study at the same church should be conducted in order to provide better clarity of the resilience aspects; i.e, to what extent the members of the church had lived the aspect of resilience: which of the aspects that they had demonstrated strengths, and which of the aspects that they could be better.
