Pendampingan Potensi Pemuda Desa Hanjak Maju dalam Ruang Pluralitas di Kalimantan Tengah

Abstract

This article explores the potential of youth in the plurality space as a force to maintain religious moderation that is taking place in the village of Hanjak Maju, Central Kalimantan. The context of a multicultural and religious society is a space for increasing interfaith spirituality among youth and religious leaders as well as the community as a form of effort to maintain religious moderation born from the multicultural reality of the village of Hanjak Maju. The method used is Participatory Action Research through exploring the potential of youth to find out how far they are aware of the context of a plural society; Workshop on interreligious relations and fostering interfaith spirituality. The end result of this activity is an increase in the understanding and skills of religious and community leaders, as well as youth regarding the existence of religious and cultural relations as the foundation of religious moderation.
