Parents Empowerment: Kejelasan Kurikulum Merdeka Bagi Orang Tua SD Kristen 1 Salatiga

The dynamics of education in Indonesia are moving so fast. Curriculum changes based on political policies make it difficult for many parties to adapt. One of them is the home learning pattern with the Merdeka Curriculum. Parents have been proven to have difficulty dividing their work time and accompanying their children. Understanding the curriculum that often changes makes parents confused about the ideal definition of a child they have sent to school. The UKSW FKIP Community Service team designed a form of provision with the On the Job Training method entitled Parents Empowerment related to curriculum, literacy, science and management of learning at home. The participants of the activity were 17 parents of SD Kristen 1 Salatiga. This strengthening went well and provided benefits in the form of additional insight, tips for practicing communication and managing children's learning at home.
