Analisis Input-Output Dan Dampak Investasi Pariwisata Terhadap Perekonomian Jawa Tengah
Abstract
The tourism sector in Central Java has great potential that can be developed through investment flows. This research aims to identify the position of the tourism sector as an economic driver in Central Java Province in 2023 through an analysis of forward and backward linkages, inter- sectoral linkages, output multipliers, household income, and employment. This research also analyzes the impact of a 114 billion Rupiah investment shock in the tourism sector based on the Strategic Plan of the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Agency of Central Java Province for 2023 on the Central Java economy. This study contributes by analyzing Central Java’s tourism sector from the perspective of the latest Input-Output analysis by updating the 2016 Input-Output table using the RAS method. The analysis results show that the tourism sector is a leading sector capable of driving the Central Java economy. The output multiplier for the tourism sector is 1.594, while the household income multiplier is 0.00005, and the employment multiplier is 0.031. The investment flow into the tourism sector also generates significant additional output, household income, and employment for the tourism sector. Moreover, tourism investment has a positive impact on other sectors, especially the manufacturing sector.
