Kehadiran virus Covid 19 banyak sekali memberikan dampak kepada manusia, kematian salah satunya. Di Indonesia sendiri covid 19 mulai masuk sejak awal tahun 2000 yang menjangkiti manusia mulai dari yang muda hingga yang tua. Apabila virus ini masuk ke dalam tubuh anak muda, maka akan cepat dalam memproduksi anti virus atau imunity yang ada dalam tubuhnya, namun lain halnya dengan orang tua atau older people, karena kemampuan meregenerasi sel-sel tersebut tidak secapat anak muda, selain itu adanya komorbid atau penyakit bawaan juga memberikan masalah tersendiri. Hingga penelitian ini dibuat, Indonesia berusaha memerangi virus ini dengan anti virus, PSBB dan isolasi mandiri. Salah satu dampak dari isolasi mandiri adalah kecemasan atau Adult Separation Anxiety Disorders (AsepAD). Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mencari bagaimana orang tua dengan komorbid mengelola atau mengurangi rasa cemas tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan 3 narasumber yang bervariasi. Wawancara mendalam dengan tetap memperhatikan protocol kesehatan dilakukan untuk mencari data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Adult Separation Anxiety Disorders muncul bukan hanya berdasar kepada hubungan darah atau keluarga, namun juga muncul jika seseorang berada dalam suatu situasi tertentu. Komunikasi menjadi jalan bagi orang tua untuk mengelola atau mengurangi rasa cemas ini.
