Abstract

Sutejo Shop is an MSME located in Batang Regency, more precisely in Limpung Subdistrict, Cokronegoro Street. The stock storage system that comes from suppliers at the Sutejo Shop will be stored in the warehouse. Because they are constrained in terms of collecting data on goods, shop owners want to monitor and get valid data on goods in the warehouse but are confused about what steps to take. Therefore, information systems and media are needed in order to overcome the problems of shop owners. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to create an information system for data collection using a desktop-based application to become a data collection medium. The prototype design uses the Java programming language with a DBMS-based phpmyadmin management model. The method used in this research is SDLC, besides that there are also interview and observation methods. Through the design and implementation of information systems, owners can use new data collection strategies in their business.
