Abstract

This research focuses on redesigning SehatQ’s user interface for elderly users over 60. This research aims to redesign SehatQ’s user interface to be more user-friendly for elderly users. The object used in this research is SehatQ’s v1.24.0 user interface, where several user interface violations are found in this application that can make it challenging for elderly users. According to ISO 9241-11, quality evaluation can be done by calculating effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. This study also uses the User Centered Design or UCD method to find out what the elderly need for the application interface, so the research can be said to be right on target. The usability testing results on the redesigned interface showed an increase in effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction percentage value. This fix proves that the redesigned interface is acceptable to older users.
