Tables and Illustrations

Tables and illustrations of images, graphics, and photographs are placed on separate pages of text in the manuscript. Tables are numbered, short, and titled, so each can be viewed as stand-alone. A table outline is sufficient for horizontal lines without a vertical line table. The number of digits is as simple as possible with the decimal separator using the point (.), The table description is placed under the table. For illustration, the description is placed under the illustration, with a brief and clear title and a sequence number.
