About the Journal

-Focus and Scope-

The AGRIC Journal of Agricultural Sciences is peer-reviewed and published biannually by the Faculty of Agriculture and Business, Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga City, Indonesia. AGRIC Journal publishes original articles on agronomy, horticulture, plant breeding, crop science, plant pests and diseases, agriculture and food processing, food science, microbiology, biotechnology, agribusiness, socio-economic aspects of agriculture, and agricultural extension studies.

All submitted articles must be unpublished elsewhere, original, and not currently under consideration for other publications.

-Peer Review Process-

In the peer review process, reviewers conduct a double-blind review of each manuscript on the relevant topic. The reviewers' assessments will be the editor's top priority in making decisions. Reviewers take two to four weeks to complete one round of the review process.

-Open Access Policy-

This journal provides immediate access to its content on the principle that the free availability of research to the public supports a broader global exchange of knowledge.

-Journal History-

The AGRIC journal was first published in 1996. In 2015, the journal published an online version at ejournal.uksw.edu/agric and registered its e-ISSN on March 20, 2017. In 2020, AGRIC was accredited by the National Journal Accreditation Institute (ARJUNA), managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, with a Level Three rating (Rank 3, Sinta 3).

-Author Fee-

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Submission Fee: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay the Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication Fee: 800,000 (IDR) for Indonesian authors and 100 (USD) for foreign authors.
